Juneteenth & Prominent African American Families of Central Texas

Great News!

I visited the George Washington Carver Museum and Cultural Center earlier this month, and was enthralled to see exhibits on Juneteenth and Prominent African American Families of Central Texas. I asked if someone would be willing to be interviewed at my first visit and was told that they would be quite busy until some time after Spring Break.

That time has come! I have been given the opportunity to interview the curator and was wondering if anyone else might have some questions for her? Moreover, I have no personal means of transportation – so if someone with a car would like to come with so I don’t have to beg one of my friends for yet another ride into Austin that would be much appreciated. The times they are available are: on Thursday afternoon, after 2:00 PM, or on Friday, between 10 AM and 12:30 PM.

If you don’t need the information but will happen to be in the Austin area I would appreciate a ride regardless of your participation ;p
